Blu Jungle Half Term Camp 2024

For the upcoming October Half-Term Camp, we are excited to introduce a series of courses related to Chinese art history.  From the ancient craft of Tang Sancai Pottery to the mysterious allure of Chuan Opera Face Changing, children will embark on an artistic journey full of exploration and discovery.

  • Week 1: October 8-11
  • Week 2: October 15-18
  • Week 3: October 22-25

陶泥藝術 Air Dry Clay Tue-Wed: 10:00-12:30
Ages 4-6
Camp A | 山海经 Fantasy Fish Pottery from the Mountains and Seas 
Shan Hai Jing is a classic ancient Chinese text filled with mythical stories and mysterious creatures.
Children will explore these magical beings and create their own unique clay works, sparking boundless imagination through this artistic journey.


Ages 7+
Camp B | 唐三彩 Pottery Art: Tang Sancai
Tang Sancai is a traditional pottery art form that originated in the Tang dynasty, known for its vibrant colors and distinctive decorative style.
Children will create their own colorful Tang Sancai pottery pieces, experiencing firsthand the charm of this ancient craft. Each piece of clay will carry their personal interpretation of Tang Sancai, igniting their artistic passion.

Ages 4-6
Camp C | 藻井 Dunhuang Drum Painting-Zaojing Art 
Zaojing is a type of ceiling decoration found in ancient Chinese architecture, typically made of wood and painted with intricate patterns of flowers and animals. It is not only visually beautiful but also reflects rich cultural meaning.
Children will dive into the unique aesthetic of Dunhuang art, learning how to blend traditional elements with modern creativity as they create their own Zaojing-inspired art.


Ages 7+
Camp D | 川劇變臉 Chuan Opera Face Changing Art 
Chuan Opera's face-changing is a unique and mysterious form of performance art, famous for its rapid mask changes.
Children will craft their own masks, delving into the charm of face-changing art, and enjoying the fusion of creativity and performance that will sharpen their observation and creative skills.

HK$1500/ camp

HK$1050/camp (2 days,5 hrs in total)
20% OFF: 1 person OR 1 camp
